excessive asking
turns away worthiest child
needs irrelevant

My son (daughter): May you ask for favor with both hands, honest boldness in one and keen awareness in the other. Let no obstacle in your path stop you, for our God is like the waters He made, able to find a secret way or overwhelm even the proudest ruler of men. But be farsighted and sensitive, aware of the true nature of your request and the positions all have taken.
