Daily Haiku - Friendly Faces
greeted warmly by hostess
day's heat vanishes
My son (daughter): May you always be mindful and in deliberate control of the set of your face. Your countenance is a thing which must always be genuine, for if you let it become a mask you will begin seeking power that ought not belong to you, and earn God’s rebuke and correction. May you make peace and friends with your smile and the set of your eyes without even the need to speak.

May your day be blessed, and may you be a blessing to those you meet.
