Daily Haiku - Darkness
hold my hand mommy
the dark is here and I’m scared
You can see it, right?
My son (daughter): May you learn to use fear as fuel for righteous anger or scornful laughter instead of its raw, misguided original form. Parents who do not fear the dark still see the dark, experience it, and often shield their children from its fullness, but it can come across as lack of understanding or empathy. May you seek to be mature, coming to an understanding of how to carry yourself in darkness, when shadows loom and fear builds, so you can act and dominate instead of shrinking away from heroism.

May your day be blessed, and may you be a blessing to those you meet.
